This historic cottage, dating from 1638, was a fantastic stay. The bedrooms were comfy and the top bedroom offered a lovely view. The house was clean and furnished to a high standard, with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. The location was great, right in the heart of the old part of the village, allowing for easy access to explore the area. Additionally, the heaters provided were much needed and helped create a cozy atmosphere.
All was perfect.

our stay at oakfield cottage in robin hood's bay exceeded our expectations. the location was perfect, allowing easy access to the village and nearby attractions. the cottage itself was full of character, with comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. we especially loved the view from the top bedroom.
Wifi connection issues.

Absolutely loved the view of the sea from my room, it almost made up for the old, musty smell that permeated everything. Oh, and the free WiFi was a nice touch, although the connection was as unreliable as my ex-boyfriend.
The place desperately needs a makeover, but hey, who needs clean carpets and fresh towels when you have character, right?
